General Information

• Doors open one hour before each ceremony.
  
  
• Shuttle buses are available at adjacent parking lots the day of Commencement to assist guests who may have difficulty walking (click here for a campus map that shows parking lots).
  
  
• The commemorative Commencement program will list each graduate's primary major and hometown. Please note that if you have completed a double major, only the primary major that you identified on your application for graduation will be the discipline listed.
  
  
• All graduates are encouraged to attend the rehearsal on Friday afternoon. However, if distance or employment is a factor, you do not need to be present.
  
  
• Seating for guests with disabilities will be available in five different areas in the arena (click here to veiw the floor plan - File Type: Adobe Acrobat PDF). If you need additional accommodations (e.g., interpreter services), please contact the University's ADA office as soon as possible (301-687-4102; TDD (301) 687-7955).
